Before I say anything about the existence of god or some superior power, I would just like to show you the path to that superior power, if something of that sort does exist.
THIS WHOLE POST HAS BEEN WRITTEN CONSIDERING THAT GOD AND THIS WORLD DOES EXIST.
First of all, the people in this world see god as something really small. What I don't understand is, why would god want us to be scared of him? Why would he want us to do only certain things that are considered right according to religion, though we don't want to do them? Why not let us all do whatever we want in this world and be happy? Now just think about the way most people talk about god. Saying things like "you should be god fearing" or "if you do this you will go to hell". Sounds to me like kids talking about the big bully in school. That can't be the way god actually is. He would just want all of us to be happy doing whatever we want to do. Isn't that what you would call greatness? According to current belief god seems like a giant who is satisfying his own ego by scaring a bunch of little people.
This whole religion thing seems to me more like something that was set up so that the world runs in a way the superior powers in the world wanted it to run.
Don't forget that every religious thought came forth from a mind, and that every religious book was written by a hand, both the mind and the hand that of a mortal.
In this world, problems kept arising and people started doing things that were not pleasing to others. The thinking of the new generations were more advanced and they brought about changes in the world. As everyone knows the older generations doesn't like changes. Hence using religion the elders set restrictions. Down the centuries with the growth of more religions and religious ideas the number of restrictions set have become so high that even basic natural emotions like anger, jealousy, sexual thoughts, etc have come to be considered sins. In short religion has restricted our freedom of thought. Which, as obvious, is very necessary for the survival of religion, considering how weak it is. Because the day every person starts thinking freely, with no restriction of thoughts, that day religion will be extinct and will be termed as historical bullshit.
Like it or not, all of us have been brought up in a cult.
In cults, they deprive the members of basic necessities like food, exposure to the outside world, etc for a certain period till their mind is strongly fixed in what has been taught by the group. The deprivation is necessary to restrict the thinking process, so that the subject can be easily convinced. Just like that we also have been convinced by piling our minds up with ancient beliefs and ideas at an age we are not even capable to think. We are all members of the cult - Religion. All this has been done by using one name- GOD.
Knowledge- the greatest sin.
At a very tender age we have been deprived of one of the most basic human necessity- The freedom of thought and action. And by restricting our thoughts and actions, we are actually restricting the amount of knowledge we can acquire in a lifetime. In other words we can say that according to religion, having knowledge is the greatest sin. According to the bible the first sin that was committed was when eve took a bite from the fruit of the tree of knowledge. And by restricting out actions (like not committing adultery, or not consuming alcohol, or not murdering anyone, etc) they are actually restricting our experiences, which eventually leads to knowledge. And just take a look at the people with great knowledge. All of them have been condemned at one point or the other that they are teaching against religion or preaching against god (including Jesus- the so called 'son of god'). They don't accept these thinkers or kill them. And once they are dead they call them god and use the name of these great thinkers to put restriction on our thinking. Funny, ain't it?
Break free.
Don't you think its time we broke free from this cult? Time we stopped going to worship places and doing rituals, and realized that if there is a god, that god is within us? God can't be found in stone or concrete structures(they are all illusions, not real- as I said in my previous posts). If there is a god, that god can be found only through our minds. It is through meditation (a voyage through ones mind) that people like Buddha and Jesus have found God. So what are we doing searching for God in this non existent world?
You.
Travel the path that has been restricted by religion. The path of knowledge. That is the only path that can take you to the destination, the destination of reality. And who knows why religion restricts the path so much? It might be because every person who has dared to take that path is worshipped today as Gods. And if everyone becomes God, religions will die, because there is no longer the need to worship. So the answer is obvious,
God is in you, or you are GOD.......YOU.......

Try replacing ' I am ' with ' My mind is ' in the quote that is given at the beginning of this post. And you will understand the true meaning.

PERPLEXED PERCEPTION.

In my post before the last one, I left you saying that we really don’t know if we all see the world in the same colors. Because we can’t explain the colors we see to each other. Till now I was just talking about one aspect of one of our five senses.
Now that I have explained my point about colors I would like to move ahead into the other aspects of sight, and then into the other senses.
Just like we can’t explain color to each other, we can’t explain shapes too. I know that most of you would disagree with me. Let me elaborate. Now when you say a round object, say a ball, when you take a ball and show it to another person, how can you say that he is seeing that object exactly in the shape you are seeing it? A person can say that an object is round, and he can show an object that is round. But can he ever make you understand in words how he sees roundness?
He can show the round shape with his hands. But how can he be so sure that you are seeing exactly what he wants to show you? He can say that a round object doesn’t have angles. If your perception of roundness is different from another person's, your concept of angles will also be adapted by your mind in such a way that something round will not have any angles.
But shapes are not defined by sight alone. It is also defined by the sense of touch. We can feel the roundness of an object. But how can you say that two people holding the same round object will have the same sensations? The way you feel it and the way another person feels it might be different. But you both call it round. Just like you say that leaves are green, no matter what color you see it in.
This is because the human mind is more in touch with the information previously stored than with current sensations. Whatever the information sent by the senses, it is not analyzed as isolated information. It is analyzed relative to the previously stored information.
Think that in your whole brain there are only three shapes stored. You don’t know anything else. Say you know only a square, a triangle, and a circle. So when you see an ellipse, the information reaches your mind and your mind doesn’t analyze this information separately. Initially it just tries to relate it to one of the three shapes you already know. So in the first shot your mind would say that it is a circle. Later on the mind might analyze that shape is slightly different from the circles you have seen before.
But here we are talking about a brain that has hardly any work to do, because the only stored information is three shapes. So it might analyze this information twice. But what about out minds which is a huge trunk of information with more information being squeezed in every second from all the five different senses? Does our mind analyze all the information twice? Very, very rarely. Some information is not analyzed at all. Most people don’t even have time to think twice about their most important decisions. Then where would the have the time or even bother to think about such simple things as color or shapes. Their brains are satisfied doing the "match it to the information already stored analysis. In that way isn’t our brain fooling us in a sort of a way? Isn't it blurring the reality? Can we even trust our minds? And most of the information stored in our minds has not been analyzed properly. So, are we believing in more and more lies just because we can relate them to the lies that we already know?
Where is the truth then? What is real? How do we know? If the way two people perceive the same object is not the same, then does that object exist at all? Is that object real? If that object is real, then what is reality?
So many questions. Hardly any answers. So much for science. Now if you ask me what i am trying to prove. I am trying to prove that the four percent of the universe that we claim to know about is also a mystery to us. The rest of the 96 percent even scientists don’t know. It is made of dark energy and dark matter. Science in total darkness. Funny, how reality can be so complex. Or is it that there is a limit to which even science can fool us with this reality crap.
In other words I am trying to prove that we don’t know anything. Nothing is real. Or simply nothing exists. It’s all a dream that you have seen all your life. It’s all a life long illusion. Wake up....

SCIENCE IN DARKNESS.

Dark Matter and Dark Energy: One and the Same?

By Robert Roy Britt Senior Science Writer

posted: 07:00 am ET12 July 2004

Dark matter and dark energy are two of the most vexing problems in science today. Together they dominate the universe, comprising some 96 percent of all mass and energy.
But nobody knows what either is. It's tempting to consider them products of the same unknown phenomenon, something theorist Robert Scherrer suggests.
Dark matter was invoked decades ago to explain why galaxies hold together. Given regular matter alone, galaxies might never have formed, and today they would fly apart. So there must be some unknown stuff that forms invisible clumps to act as gravitational glue.
Dark energy hit the scene in the late 1990s when astronomers discovered the universe is not just expanding, but racing out at an ever-faster pace. Some hidden force, a sort of anti-gravity, must be pushing galaxies apart from one another in this accelerated expansion.
Separate theories have been devised to try and solve each mystery.
To explain dark energy, for example, theorists have re-employed a "cosmological constant" that Einstein first introduced as a fudge factor to balance the force of gravity. Einstein called the cosmological constant a great blunder and retracted it. Yet many theorists now are comfortable re-employing it to account for the effects of dark energy. But it does not reveal what the force is.
Scherrer agrees two explanations might be necessary, but he's also bothered by that complexity.
'Embarrassing'
"It is somewhat embarrassing to have two different unknown sources for the dominant forms of matter and energy in the universe," he said in an e-mail interview. "On the other hand, that may just be the way things are. We don't get to pick the universe we live in."

Part of article from
www.space.com

OBVIOUS ILLUSIONS.

"Anticipate the day when you realize that the person you see in the mirror, is nothing but an illusion."

I think with my last post I should have got atleast a few of you thinking. And I know some of you might be thinking that this is total crap. For the first group, who are thinking, all I want to say is that, I like you guys because you are not lost in your ignorance. Even if at the end you conclude that I am wrong, I wouldn't mind. Because by then, the time you have spent thinking will pay off, by atleast making a few things clearer for yourself.
As for those who think that what I say is crap, even without thinking about it for a moment, I'm sorry guys. All I can say is "Ignorance is certainly bliss!".
Last time I got your attention towards color. Something that you see every moment of your life. Something that makes this world so beautiful, and worth indulging in once in a while. We have been taught colors when we were kids. We were taught that apple is red, leaves are green, etc. Well everyone knows that leaves are green. But I might be on the more rebellious side, that I sometimes even question the obvious. Everyone knows leaves are green. But are leaves actually green?
We were taught that leaves are green. Why were we not taught what green looks like? Didn't understand? Its ok. You will. Let's have a conversation:-

ME: Tell me about green.
YOU: Leaves are green.
ME: I didn't ask you what things are green in color. I want you to tell me only about the color green. I want you to describe green the way you see it.
(You think for a while)
YOU: Describe green?
ME: Yes!
YOU: I don't know.
ME: Bingo!! Neither do I.

We both can see properly. We both know that leaves are green. But we cant describe the color green to each other. Weird right?
It is!! But, if we can't describe the color green to each other, how do we know that the green you see and the green I see are the same? How can we make each other understand what we see, when we say green? Read the next sentence carefully. I might be seeing leaves in the color that you see the sky in. But I call that color green because I know leaves are green, and you call that color blue because you know that the sky is blue. I know only that leaves are green, but don't know what green looks like to you or to someone else. Because no one in this whole wide world can tell me what green looks like. How would I know what name to call which color, except by relating the colors to the first objects of some color that were shown to me and taught that this is so and so color( green or blue)?
What I am trying to say is that since we cant describe the colors that we see to each other, if I can get inside your body and mind, and see through your eyes, I might be seeing this world in totally different colors, or maybe even in colors I have never seen before. Till I see through your eyes and your mind how would I know? Try to think about it.
Most of you would want to know what my point is. But you will have to wait for that. I know that most of you are baffled by all this. Just take a deep breath. Read it all over again slowly. Go sit quietly in some peaceful place and think. Let your mind wander. Free your mind. And you will understand what I am talking about. Let me tell you that this is only the beginning. Anyone who thinks that I am forcing my ideas is wrong. Because I am just a mortal, like you. I can only show you the door. To walk through it, is up to you.

"If you wake up from sleep and don't know if you are still dreaming, how would you know the difference between what's real and what's not?"
-Unknown

FRAGILE RELIGION.

"The universe begins and ends within every mind"
-Anonymous

In my post before the last one, I asked you all to decide on what you believe in. I think I have given you enough time to make your decision. Now this time I am going to write for only those who have picked science over religion as what they believe in. For those of you who have picked religion, can read or ignore this post and the next few as this is not exactly meant for you.
Now let us talk about science. I don't know what is your idea about science. But I would call it a revolution that was started centuries back by the younger generation(obviously) against orthodox believes. But today it is the new age religion. With a lot of followers. It was not always that a person who made a scientific statement had the proof for it. For example it was not the person who stated that the earth is round for the first time who proved it. It was proved many years later by a different person.
So in other words we can say that according to science, something that you state will be accepted scientifically real or existent only if you can prove what you state. Or in simpler words according to science anything that is real should have a proper definition.
Definition:-A definition can be defined as a statement in any wordily accepted language, explaining or elaborating the meaning of a concept or an object, using previously defined and accepted words of the same language.
In other words anything that is real should have a proper definition in a proper language. And the definition should consist only of words that have been already defined and proved real.
Cutting the crap:-Anything that has a proper definition is real according to science.
Now what is a proper definition. To tell you the truth there is no proper definition as far as I believe. Let me tell you why.
Right now just think of any color that you like. Let's say green. Now green is a colour that has been scientifically defined and accepted. You too know what green is. But if I put a blind person in front of you, and ask you to make him understand what green is will you be able to? I can assure you that you will not be. You can tell him that leaves are green. Or that green is something like blue. Or something like that. But till the blind person can see green he cant understand what green is. So the definition of green fails to prove that green is real to a person without the sense of sight.
Similarly, think of a person who doesn't have any of the five senses. How are you going to make him believe that anything exists in this world? How can you prove to him that the world exists at all?
Now imagine that all the people in this world did not have any of the five senses. Including you. You cant see, hear, smell, taste or feel anything. How would anyone then know that the world exists, the way we know it now? Would science ever have commenced? So without our five senses the world doesn't exist to us. No definition can prove it. Science is not valid. In other words:
"THE EXISTENCE OF THE WORLD IS A MERCY OF OUR SENSES"
Close your eyes and imagine a world where you cant see hear or feel anything. Total darkness, total silence, total nothingness. That is reality without our senses.
NOTHINGNESS IS REALITY.
Hence we can say that science depends on our five senses to prove the existence of anything. The base of all scientific definitions is the five senses. But what if the five senses cant be defined? Wouldn't every scientific definition be wrong then? How can we define the five senses? "We can state senses as the stimulation of different types of cells, that sends signals to the brain, and the brain processes the signals into information." "The brain processes the signals into information". Unfortunately science still doesn't know completely the functioning of the brain. Till the time science cant define the functioning of the brain, senses cant be defined, and inturn nothing in this world can be defined. In other words till you can give a proper definition for the word mind, the existence of the universe cant be proved. Putting it even simpler, where science stands today the only thing that can be said is-
"NOTHINGNESS IS REALITY".
Now if you ask me, "What is your point?". I would simply say "My point is that the universe doesn't exist according to science till the day the mind of a human being is defined". And I don't think that science will ever be able to define the mind of a human being. So does the universe exist at all? Do you exist? Think about it all you folks who believe in science.

Science is todays religion. But how strong is it? How long can it survive? Will another revolution wipe it away? Will there be another religion after science? Is there something beyond reality?More to come. So long then.......

"Believe nothing of what you hear and only half what you see"
- Anonymous

SPITEFUL PHILOSOPHY.

"It is a curious thing that the mental life seems to flourish with its roots in spite, ineffable and fathomless spite."
-D.H.Lawrence

Today I just checked my blog and saw the two comments I got. One from neelima and the second from pallavi. Thank you both. Glad to know that people with some intellect are reading my blog. But right now I prefer or rather choose not to discuss or argue on what both of you have said. Maybe I will never choose to.
When I was reading your comments the lines that came into my mind are the above lines by D.H.Lawrence. Dont mean to offend either of you but I think of those lines whenever some intellectual person who does have a mental life talks to me. When I say mental life I mean someone who thinks. Someone who cares beyond his physical existence. I am not talking about people who think (all people do) but about thinkers who are people.
You can say that I have been witness to, and sometimes a part of many intellectual arguments and discussions. Many times the truth or the facts are obvious but the argument goes on because the people who are arguing are thinkers and they just refuse to give up or lose. They just refuse to give up thinking of points to take forward the argument till they know they win. In short however great their thoughts, the arguments are no different from the fight between street dogs (Dogs are generally better). The thoughts are not what matter. Winning is what matters. Selfishness and satisfying ones ego.
Its no different with the greater thinkers. Be it Socrates, Plato, anyone for that matter. Great thinkers, philosophers, but each one's ego greater than his philosophy.
But not all were so. There was a breed of thinkers whose thoughts were pure. The ones with greater understanding. I personally prefer this breed. People like the Buddha, sitting quietly under a Bo' tree, and Jesus Christ, telling short Sunday stories to his disciples. These people were more bent on making people think than proving that their own thoughts are right. Buddha and Jesus never wanted to win. Moreover they were ready to lose. Lose everything. Buddha lost his kingdom, his family. Jesus lost his life. All for what they believed in. All for the reason. The reason that very few seek and fewer find. The reason of ones life. Though they lost everything in this search, they won eventually. Won the faith of millions of people.
Pity Socrates and Plato sitting on rooftops and arguing. Only if they had spend their time for something more worthwhile. Only if they had the courage to lose, to fail. They would not have been remembered today as philosophers, but would have been worshipped as gods.
Each one of us is like a tree and you can say that our thoughts and deeds are our fruits. The moment you start thinking, letting your mind free of all the worldly bonds, the fruits begin to ripen. And when you start feeding your ego by telling everyone that what you think is right, or when you start arguing to prove you are right; it is like a tree shedding its fruits hoping that alteast when people find the fruits on the ground they will eat it. But who would want to eat a plucked fruit. And as it is logical for any plucked fruit to rot, so is it for all the thoughts you force on people to be rotten too. Your thoughts get spoiled. Don't force people to accept what you say, or rather don't say much. Who knows, with time the fruits might become more sweeter. So the tree must wait till someone hungry walks up and plucks the fruit. And if he finds the fruit sweet many more will follow.....

"Ye shall know the tree by its fruit"
- Jesus Christ

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IN?

I remember still, the memories of my childhood still fresh, the way I was brought up. My parents, like all parents wanted their son to be perfect in every. They wanted me to be good at studies, well mannered, god-fearing, liked by everyone,...and the list goes on. But they never knew that someday I would question certain things that I was taught.
I was taught things in school, and at the same time I was taught things in the church. But two books that I could never relate was the bible and my science text book. I was supposed to learn both. But am I supposed to question which is right? No I am not. Because my parents never questioned. No one questions a holy book. Its a sin. But what I learned over the years was that all those who never questioned what they were taught, have become ordinary people. And those who did question became extraordinary. I questioned too.
But I never got the answers I wanted or different people gave me different answers. In the process I found three types of people. First type - The ones that believe in religion.
Second type- The ones that believe in science.
Third type - The ones that believe in nothing but accepts both. (The most stupid of the three types, the unsure kind.)
don't mean to offend you if you belong to the third type.
One thing I came to know for sure was that nobody was exactly sure of what they believed in. And that didn't bother them at all. Ignorance is bliss after all. Have you been ever told by an older person that you are not supposed to question what elders say? You know why you are not supposed to? Because most of the time they don't know the answer to your questions. And it does seem pretty bad when such matured people fumble around in front of someone younger. But yet they live on happily in their ignorance.
Are you like that? Do you know what you believe in? Do you have answers? Have you ever asked yourself what is right? Science or religion? And if you say you believe in both, then you will have to show me how science and religion can be related. And in the process of showing me that relation I can easily prove to you that you are making lame excuses to believe in both without even thinking about them. You are unsure of what you believe in. You belong to the foolish third category.
I know most of you have never thought of this. I know you have more important things in life. But whatever you do, are you not in a bad state if you don't know what you believe in? Think about it and you will find how contradictory science is to religion. How can you live with or accept two contradictory subjects? I want you to think about it today and decide what you truly believe in. What is right according to you? What do you live by?
Science or religion? The reality or the supernatural? Human discoveries or God?
I know that atleast a few would be wondering what I believe in and where I am leading all this to. Well I will give you answers. Its just not time yet. And as time passes you will understand what I am leading to. And what do I believe in? Well all I can say right now is that I don't believe in either.....

INCARNATE MYTHS

This is the first time i am posting something. So i think i might as well start off by saying what my blog is all about or what i am going to write here is going to be all about. Incarnate myths means mythos in flesh. Or in other words you can say true lies. Lies that everyone believes. Lies that we all believe in and follow without even thinking about it in our day to day lives. Lies that have been taught down generations. Lies that have been taught to us as truths which shouldnt even be thought about or questioned. Lies that hold us back from true liberty.
If you are already thinking that im talking some nonsense or that i am some kind of a rebel then please read no more. Because you have been too deeply rooted into those lies that i am talking about and do not even wish to consider a different thought. As for the others i just want to say that i have a few ideas of mine that i want to share with you. Accepting them or fighting them is totally left to your freedom. But if you are going to read what i write please spend some time to think about what i say before judging my thoughts and intensions. And just for the record you can say i am a rebel.....
